Richard "Rich" Deabay
It is with heavy hearts that we have to say good bye to our brother, friend, partner, father and husband as he finds his way to final peace. Rich was a 'one of a kind' guy who never hesitated to offer a hand or himself in support in every facet of the Gatekeepers Motorcycle Club and activities. Quick with a smile, fast with a joke the first to volunteer, Rich's style was to set the example for all others to follow. He will forever be in our thoughts, our hearts and forever a Gatekeeper.
Richard A. Deabay, age 55, of East Lyme, died Sunday following a motorcycle accident. He was the husband of Donna Deabay, and the father of two daughters. Rich was laid to rest on Thursday June 4, 2009.
